COVID-19

Savannah Care Center will be doing its part to protect our clients, staff, and volunteers in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. We have instituted the following guidelines recommended by the CDC, Care Net and NIFLA.

Currently, we are not taking walk-in appointments. We ask that you call the Center before coming as we will need to ask you a few questions to determine what your needs are and to screen for possible Covid-19 infection. Based on what your needs are we will determine how to best help you at this time.

When you arrive at the Center you will see a sign on the door that says STOP! The door will be locked. Please just call 912-236-0916 as instructed on the information posted on the door. One of our staff members will ask you the screening questions again and come to take your temperature. Please help us by standing away from the front door. If all is well, you will be asked to enter the Center, clean your hands and take a seat in the room you are directed to. We are adhering to the 6-foot rule for social distancing and ask that you help with this as well by trying to maintain at least 6 feet from anyone else in the Center while you are here. No more than one client will be allowed in the Center at one time.
