Onsite Volunteer Opportunities
On-Site Volunteer opportunities range from working with clients to behind-the-scenes maintenance & cleaning. Take a look below at the different areas of service. Try one. If it fits great! If it doesn't, you can try something else. We appreciate all our volunteers and want you to be able to serve in an area that best suits your gifts and talents. Client Advocate
A client Advocate meets with the women/men that come into the Center facing an unplanned pregnancy decision. This position requires 24 hours of classroom training and mentoring prior to meeting one on one with clients.
Building Maintenance
Savannah Care Center is housed in a 110-year-old house. There are many areas of maintenance and upkeep needed regularly. These range from repairs to remodeling.
Office Assistance
Data Entry/Phone calls/Filing/Inventory
These are all areas that need attention every day at the Center.
Teacher/Mentor
Teach one on one in our Earn While You Learn classes for our Moms and Dads. These classes are DVD based with instruction sheets and homework. We also offer group classes for Finance, Healthy Relationships, Nutrition, and Bible Studies. Thes classes offer an opportunity to mentor as well.
Baby Boutique
Receiving and sorting donations, stocking the Boutique and assisting clients with their purchases.
